EARLY CHILDHOOD STUDIES INSTRUCTOR AWARD:
Awarded to a University of Guelph-Humber Early Childhood Studies instructor who goes above and beyond professional expectations to support and educate future early childhood professionals.


Criteria:

- Nominated by an Early Childhood Studies student from the University of Guelph-Humber


EARLY CHILDHOOD STUDIES ALUMNI BLOOMER AWARD:
Awarded to an alumni of the University of Guelph-Humber’s Early Childhood Studies program who has flourished and made a significant impact in the lives of children and their families.

 

Criteria:
- Individuals must be an alumni of the University of Guelph-Humber's Early Childhood Studies program


 

STUDENT LEADERSHIP AWARD IN EARLY CHILDHOOD STUDIES:
Awarded to an Early Childhood Studies student who selflessly supports and provides guidance to their peers through strong student leadership.


Criteria:
I- Currently enrolled at the University of Guelph-Humber in the Early Childhood Studies program.


 

EARLY CHILDHOOD PROFESSIONAL APPRECIATION AWARD:
Awarded to a professional who provides extraordinary education and care to children and families, demonstrating exceptional professionalism, and embodying professional standards as described by the College of Early Childhood Educators.

 

Criteria: 

- Registered and in good standing with the Ontario College of ECE’s

 

EXCELLENCE IN MENTORSHIP AWARD:
Awarded to a University of Guelph-Humber Early Childhood Studies field practicum site that mentors students by encouraging confidence, allowing for risk and failure, and models how to be an empathetic professional.


Criteria:

- Must be an active Field Practicum site affiliated with the University of Guelph-Humber’s Early Childhood Studies program.

Open to all professionals in the field of  Early Childhood Studies field or related to. 
 

EARLY CHILDHOOD STUDIES ADVANCEMENT AWARD:
Awarded to a professional who has made a significant contribution to the field of Early Childhood Studies by going above and beyond to support the well-being and best interest of children. This individual's contribution can be through research or by working directly with children and families.


Criteria:
- Registered and in good standing with the Ontario College of ECE’s and/or;

- Has a diploma/degree in a discipline related to early childhood

EARLY CHILDHOOD STUDIES COMMUNITY IMPACT AWARD:
Awarded to an individual whose professional practice with children and families has rippled into positive outcomes for the community.


Criteria:
- Professional practice is defined by directly working with children and families or conducting research that impacts the community.

- Registered and in good standing with the Ontario College of ECE’s and/or;

- Has a diploma/degree in a discipline related to early childhood

EARLY CHILDHOOD PROFESSIONAL HONORARY AWARD:
Awarded to an individual who has created positive change and who has had a profound impact on children, families and the community.

Criteria:

- Registered and in good standing with the Ontario College of ECE’s and/or;

- Has a diploma/degree in a discipline related to early childhood

 

EARLY CHILDHOOD PROFESSIONAL APPRECIATION AWARD:
Awarded to a professional who provides extraordinary education and care to children and families, demonstrating exceptional professionalism, and embodying professional standards as described by the College of Early Childhood Educators.
